‘Kingview Cottage’ Bed & Breakfast is in the heart of the King Valley in North-East Victoria.
We provide accomodation where you bring you own bed linen and food; OR we offer a Bed & Breakfast service, providing bed linen, towels etc. with a self-serve breakfast in the refrigerator.
Originally the farmhouse on the property, the cottage has recently been renovated to give more space and comfort and is the ideal location for a restful holiday in the country.
Although only a simple farm cottage, the cottage is well kept, comfortable and practical. It is situated on one side of our 620 acre property looking west to a line of hills, and east across the King River valley to the mountains, including views of Mount Buffalo.
Beef cattle are run on the property. Up until the late 90′s fine wool merino sheep were also run on the farm, and the old shearing shed and sheep yards are located near the cottage.
The cottage provides sleeping accommodation for 10 people, including one queen sized bed and one double bed. Pillows, doonas and blankets are provided, but you need to bring sheets, pillowslips and towels.
The kitchen has crockery and cutlery, cooking utensils, electric stove, electric jug, toaster, microwave and refrigerator, and basic tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper etc.
You will need to provide your food requirements and tea towels, detergents, soaps etc. We ask you to replace any basic supplies you have used, and any breakages that may occur. There is an electric hot water service, and a modern combustion heater provides welcome heating on cold winter nights.
TV and video recorder are provided, as is a gas barbeque and washing machine facilities and an electric iron.
We do not allow dogs in the Cottage.
